As im rather image free on my blog at the moment I thought id upload a few peices of work id done in the past that I had laying about on an old pen drive. The more random stuff I find or create i'll post over here, if something doesnt relate to the Unit whatsoever it would make more sense to post over here and keep them posts bullshizzle free! mmm - mm =)
I keep a strong contact with my Uncle who runs his own Graphic Design Business, who is always willing to help me out and give me advice when I need it. Which as you can imagine, is very handy indeed. Check em out! http://www.icarley.co.uk/
I do a kind of "work experience" with him if you will, where he will post to me some of his smaller jobs, or jobs that fell through, to try to get me to play around with things for myself.
Anyhoo, here we have a few different designs of pretty much the same thing. Its a logo for a CBBC television programme called "Skate nation". My Uncle did actually take it up to a meeting with him, but they (to be fair) turned these designs down for someone elses. This programme is up and running now I beleive as I have seen it advertised on tv.

Onto my second bit of random work I did which actually ive come to find had some success is the logo to the new kids programme "Ooglies".
This is another logo I designed following a bunch of concept art for a small animations project icarley was in on. Fairly basic I guess, using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Fire Works. No technical wizardry to it really, just plain and what I thought to be a rather cliche design.
I was amazed to find this image was pretty much the one actually used for the programme itself.
Heres some tacky ones for ya. Trying to get a design for my bands logo, playing with its assets to give a different feel to each one.
I managed to get it printed onto a t-shirt though. Looks pretty cool eh? You can get em in black or white... roll up, roll up... Im thinking about designing one with some interesting concept Art just like my Iron Maiden t-shirt uses image references to the song descriptions. I'll upload it when I get a cool design! Anyhoo take it easy folks Keep an eye on this space for more random shizzle to pop up very soon Chris
